Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral?
I am a private Counsellor and do not require referrals. Psychologists and Psychiatrists require referrals from your GP.
Can I claim with Medicare or my private health fund?
Counselling is not on the list of claimable services at this time, hence why my prices have been reduced and adjusted accordingly.
How do I know if we are a good fit?
I offer a 10–15-minute introductory chat over the phone. This way we can both get a sense of whether I will be a good fit for you.
Will you be able to give me a diagnosis?
No, I do not diagnose. If you are looking for a diagnosis you will need to see your GP for them to guide you to the appropriate health care provider.
