The Pill

The oral contraceptive pill may contribute to vaginal dryness, pain with sex and vulvar irritation in some women. Research shows it can lower testosterone and increase SHBG, reducing hormone availability to tissues. This may impact lubrication and tissue health. While it may not be the sole cause, it’s a factor worth exploring if symptoms arise.

Access and informed consent aren't the same thing. My concern isn't that women will choose the pill — it's that they'll choose it without the full picture.
